Abstract
The isothermal vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data, the excess molar enthalpy (hE) and the excess molar volume(VE) of binary liquid mixtures of methyl tert-buthyl ether (MTBE) with methanol and ethanol were reported. The VLE data were measured at 313.5K using head space gas chromatography and hE data were measured at 363.15K by means of an isothermal flow calorimeter. The VE data were also determined at 298.15K with the densities which were measured by a vibrating tube densitometer. The experimental data were correlated with some gE models or empirical polynomial.
