Abstract
An experimental and theoretical study is given of the separation of oxygen and nitrogen in air by a single column pressure swing adsorption. Adsorption equilibrium and chromatographic experiments were also carried out to determine the adsorption parameters of the theoretical equation. The theoretical solution applied in this study with the assumption of Freundlich adsorption equilibrium has good agreement with the experimental results.
