Impact of Various Input Parameters on the Preparation of Diff erent AlN Nanostructures by Hybrid Route of Hydrothermal and Carbothermal Reduction Nitridation Technique
Abstract
Aluminum nitride (AlN) nanopowders with diff erent morphologies were prepared using a hybrid hydrothermal and carbothermal
reduction nitridation technique. The impact of pyrolysis on the preparation of AlN nanopowders was examined. The
eff ect of diff erent input parameters, such as the molar ratio of urea/alumina, hydrothermal reaction conditions, and nitridation
temperatures, on the formation of AlN nanostructures were studied. The hydrothermal treatment yielded the boehmite
precursor under diff erent reaction conditions (temperature 180–220
