KIChE-AIChE joint membership 에 관한 공지

2007년 11월 협약에 의거하여 한국화공학회 회원의 금년도 AIChE membership 할인율은 20% 로 결정되었습니다. 연회비 199$에 대해 20% 할인되는 것입니다. AIChE 회비 납부는 다음과 같이 진행됩니다. 특히 가을 AIChE 100주년 기념 학회에 참석하시는 분들께 많은 도움이 될 것으로 기대합니다.

1. 기존 회원

기존 회원들에게는 AIChE에서 회비 납부 관련 우편물이 10월 초에 발송됩니다. 이 우편물에 포함된 양식에서 아래 기술된 바와 같이, promotion code를 입력하여 발송하면 됩니다. 또는 AIChE 사무국으로 전화해서 처리하셔도 됩니다.

To renew an existing AIChE membership:

Invoices will be mailed in about one week. When the member receives the invoice, they should complete the renewal form and add a cover letter which requests AIChE to provide the 2009 discount for KIChE members according to promotional code KIChE09.  Then, they should fax the cover letter and form to (+001).203.775.5177.  Alternatively they can process the renewal by telephone by calling AIChE customer service at (+001).203.702.7660.  

2. 신규 회원

AIChE 홈페이지에 접속하셔서 신규 회원 가입을 하시면 됩니다. (https://www2.aiche.org/solutionsite/Default.aspx?tabid=41) 이 때 아래에 주어진 promotion code 를 입력하시면 20% 할인 혜택을 받을 실 수 있습니다.

To join AIChE, please use online join application:  

It is necessary to first create an account, or if the individual has previously done business with AIChE they may log in with their existing account.  Once logged in, please fill out the joining application; at the place where the form asks for a promotional (promo) code, please enter KICHE09. The discount will be applied immediately, and the credit card will be charged the discounted membership fee of $159.20, plus the cost of any divisions, local sections, subscriptions, etc.

3. 금년도 회비 기 납부자

20%에 해당하는 $39.80을 돌려받으실 수 있습니다.

If the KIChE member has already paid the full AIChE dues for 2008, and s/he attends the fall conference, we will be happy to give him/her the refund of the $39.80.  We cannot use the promotion code to reduce the cost of the meeting because of the way our system works, but we can give each of them a form to fill out and bring to the registration desk to get the refund in Philadelphia.
