Abstract
기포탑에서 다공판의 구멍의 크기를 여러 가지로 변화시키고 또 용질의 농도를 변화시킨 무기전해액 및 여러 유기물액체에 대하여 "가스 호울드업"을 측정하였다.
실험결과로부터 비중, 용액의 표면장력, 다공판의 구멍의 크기, 가스유속 및 "가스호울드업" 사이의 상관성을 수식화했다.

Gas hold-up was measured for several aqueous solutions of inorganic electrolytes and organic liquids at various hold sizes of perforated plate and various concentrations of solutes. From experimental results, correlations were formulated among specific gravity, surface tension of solution, hole size of perforated plate, gas flow rate and gas hold-up in bubble column.
