Abstract
본 연구에서는 반연속식 기포탑에 spiral wire를 충진시켜 기액계면적을 증가시켰으며, spiral wire의 size에 따른 gas hold-up와 기액계면적의 변화를 고찰함으로써 그 충전 효과를 규명하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 의하면 spiral wire의 optimum size는 직경=6 ㎜와 핏치/직경의 비=2로 주어지며 이 경우에 충전계의 기액계면적은 비충전계 보다 4배로 향상되었다.
Spiral wires were packed into a bubble column to increase the gas-liquid interfacial area and the effect of packing was investigated by measuring the changes in the gas hold-up and the gas-liquid interfacial area. The optimum size of spiral wire turned out to be 6 ㎜ in diameter with the ratio of pitch to diameter of two. Under the optimum conditions, the interfacial area for the packed bubble column became four times as large as that for the column without spiral wires.
