Abstract
촉매반응이 단순형의 속도식으로 표시되는 경우에 촉매입자의 틸레계수를 입자중심부에 나타나는 반응물농도의 함수로 표시하고 탤레계수와 유효성 인자 사이의 함수관계를 밝혔다. 한편 촉매입자의 중심부에 나타나는 반응물농도와 실제 반응속도를 측정할 수 있는 소형 실험장치를 이용하여 공업용으로 사용되는 메탄화반응 촉매입자를 시험하였고 그 결과를 위의 함수관계와 결부시켜 반응계의 여러 변수들을 산출하였다. 주요결과로 225 ℃에서 틸레계수 0.782와 유효성인자 0.835, 그리고 225 ℃∼300 ℃의 범위에서 활성화에너지 4.75 kcal/mol의 값들을 얻었다.
For catalytic reactions with simple kinetics the effectiveness factor of catalyst pellet was expressed as a function of the Thiele modulus and the latter was related to the reactant concentration at the center of the pellet. An experimental method was developed to measure the reactant concentration at the center of the pellet as well as the reaction rate and then actually applied to the methanation catalyst that was used in industries. Finally, the experimental results were combined with those of the theoretical study to obtain 0.782 for the Thiele modulus and 0.835 for the effectiveness factor, both at 225 ℃, and 4.75 kcal/mol for the activation energy in the temperature range from 225 ℃ to 300 ℃.
