Abstract
나왕재 톱밥에서 xylan을 분리하고, 이것을 1∼15 % 농도의 황산용액을 써서 70∼110 ℃의 온도에서 가수분해하여, 그 결과를 속도론적 입장에서 고찰하였다. 나왕재 xylan에는 가수분해가 쉬운 부분(A부)과 어려운 부분(B부)이 공존하여, A부와 B부의 가수분해속도정수 각각 kA[min-1] 및 kB[min-1]와 xylose의 분해속도정수 kD[min-1]의 실험식으로서, 온도T[。K]와 황산농도 C(%)를 변수로 하는 다음의 결과를 얻었다.

The hydrolysis rates of Lauan wood xylan have been investigated under some favorable conditions. The results show that the rates process can be divided into two stages which proceed at different rates. The equations describing the rate constants of both stages, kA[min-1] and kB[min-1], and the decomposition rate of xylose, kD[min-1] are given as functions of sulfuric acid concentration, C(%), and absolute temperature, T[。K],
