This report is intended to give the readers a comprehensive look at the state of the art of size reduction technology, with particular attention on how to go about selecting right equipment and making the best use of existing equipment in order to achieve given service requirements. Much of the up-to-date information has been presented herein in the form of tables which include manufacturers’lists of various operational and analytical equipment. In the course of fulfilling this aim, relavent concepts, methods and classifications, both new and old, are introduced wherever appropriate to relate theoretical aspects to practical applications.
