Abstract

포름알데히드에 의한 탈질산은 질산염 용액의 질산함량을 낮추면서 질소산화물을 회수할 수 있으므로 다른 염을 첨가하지 않는 질산함유 폐액처리에 유용한 방법이다. 이 방법에 의한 탈질산은 반응이 급격히 일어나므로 응용목적으로 반응속도 보다는 반응당량을 예측하는 것이 더욱 효과적이다. 본 연구에서는 포름알데히드를 100 ℃에서 반회분식으로 반응시켜 질산농도 1.5∼13 M에서의 탈질산배율, α=1.02+0.207 CHNO3를 구하였고 이 식을 사용하여 예측한 값은 연속식 반응에서 얻은 실험치와 100 ℃에서 4 %, 98 ℃에서는 7 %이내의 오차범위내에서 일치하였다. 또한 NO2 가스를 질산에 흡수시킨 후 포름알데히드와 반응시킴으로써 유도기간을 줄일 수 있었다.
The denitration of nitric acid with formaldehyde is an efficient method for decreasing and eliminating the nitric acid content in waste water along with recovery of nitrogen oxides leaving no added reagent behind. Due to rapid reaction rate the stoichiometric ratios of the reaction rather than reaction rates are needed for practical application. The reaction of formaldehyde with nitric acid has been studied at temp. 100 ℃ in a semi-batch reactor and obtained an equation, α=1.02+0.207 CHNO3 to determine the denitration ratios which is effective over the nitric acid conc. of 1.5-13 M. The relative errors between calculated values of ratios and the experimental data obtained for continuous reaction at temps 100 ℃ and 98 ℃ have been found less than 4 % and 7 % respectively. Also the absorption of NO2 gas by nitric acid prior to denitration has contributed to a substantial reduction of induction period of the reaction
