Abstract

대체 에너지원으로서 가장 구체적인 실용성을 지닌 석탄의 가스화 공정에 관한 연구 개발 현황을 소개하여 에너지 수입국인 한국에서의 석탄에너지 활용연구를 위한 참고 자료를 마련하고자 한다. 본고에서는 열분해, 간접 및 직접 수소첨가와 촉매가스화 반응으로 분류되는 일차가스화 반응과 수성가스 전이 및 메탄화의 이차처리 반응의 물리 및 화학적 기구 해석을 다루었으며, 이동층, 유동층, 기류층, 용융조 등의 대표적인 가스화 반응기의 특성과 연구 개발 현황을 소개한다.
The coal energy is presently one of the most promising alternative energy resources, and R & D activities on its gasification are reviewed to provide a stimulant for similar efforts in energy importing Korea. This review of available fundamental information focuses on analyzing the mechanism of the complex chemical and physical phenomena of the various primary gasification processes-thermal decomposition, direct and indirect hydrogasification, and catalytic gasification-and of the down stream processing including water gas shift conversion and methanation. The state of the art for typical gasifiers-moving bed, fluidized bed, entrained bed, and molten bath-is also extensively reviewed.
