Abstract
The heats of mixing for the binary systems of carbon tetrachloride-cyclohexane, carbon tetrachloride-benzene, cyclohexane-benzene, ethanol-n-propanol, ethanol-n-heptane, and n-propanol-n-heptane were measured at 25.0 ℃. The heats of mixing for the ternary systems of carbon tetrachloride-cyclohexane-benzene and ethanol-n-propanol-n-heptane were also measured at 25.0 ℃. The heats of mixing for the ternary systems were estimated from the results of the corresponding binary systems and the predicted values were found to be in good agreement with experimental and literature data.
