Combustion Characteristics of Low-Grade Anthracite Coal in Fluidized Bed Combustor

Abstract

유동층 연소로에서 국내저질무연탄(2,800 kcal/kg)의 연소특성과 열전달특성을 고찰하였다. 본 실험의 조업변수와 적용범위는 석탄공급량(1∼4 kg/hr), 석탄 입자크기(120∼144μ), 유동화 공기속도(31∼93 cm/sec), 유동층 온도(750∼900 ℃), static bed height(10∼20 cm) 등이었다.
실험결과, 연소효율은 74∼89 %로 나타났으며 공기음속 이 증가할수록 감소하고 유동층 온도, 과잉공기율, 석탄입자크기 등의 증가와 함께 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.
또한 유동층 연소로내의 열전달계수는 420∼540 kcal/m2hr℃로 나타났다.
Heat transfer and combustion characteristics of the domestic low grade anthracite coal (2,800 Kcal/kg) have been studied in a fluidized bed combustor. Operating variables were ranged as following : coal feed rate(1-4 kg/hr), coal size(120-140 μ), fluidizing air velocity (31-93 cm/sec), bed temperature (750-900 ℃), static bed height (10-20 cm). The experimental results showed that combustion efficiency, in the range of 74-89 %, decreased as air velocity increased, while it increased with bed temperature, excess air ratio and particle size increased. Heat transfer coefficients in a fluidized bed were found to be in the range of 420-540 Kcal/m2hr℃.
