Abstract

La2O3를 TiO2, SiO2 및 Al2O3에 담지시켜 만든 촉매에서 CO에 의한 SO2의 환원반응을 조사하였고, 이중 La2O3/TiO2 촉매에서 반응속도식과 반응기구를 검토하였다. TiO2를 담체로한 촉매에서 촉매활성이 높았고, COS생성률은 낮았으며, La2O3의 분산도는 좋았다. 반응속도는 SO2에 대해서는 0 차, CO에 대해서는 1차로 얻어졌다. SO2의 흡착으로 생성된 산소와 기상의 CO간의 반응을 속도 결정단계로 보는 반응기구를 제안하였다.
The reduction reaction of SO2 by CO was studed over La2O3-impregnated catalysts. Used supports were TiO2, SiO2, and Al2O3. A rate equation and a reaction mechanism were discussed for the La2O3(20 %)/ TiO2 catalyst. The catalysts supported on TiO2 showed good catalytic activity, low COS selectivity, and high dispersion of La2O3. Reaction orders were first order for CO and zero order for SO2. The reaction mechanism in which the rate-determining step is the elementary reaction between adsorbed oxygen from SO2 and gas phase CO, is suggested.
