Abstract

흡출관을 설치한 이중기포탑에서 공기-물계의 흐름특성 및 산소전달 현상을 규명하였다. 기체 분산 방식, 상승관과 하강관의 면적비 및 공기유속 등을 변화시켜 혼합시간, 순환시간, 기체 체류량 및 총괄 물질전달계수를 측정하였으며, 기체체류량과 총괄 물질전달계수에 미치는 각 변수의 영향에 관한 실험식을 구하였다. 순환관 기체분산 방식이 흡출관 기체분산 방식에 비하여 총괄 기체체류량과 물질전달계수가 보다 더 큼을 알 수 있었다.
The flow pattern and oxygen transfer characteristics were studied for laboratory concentric tube air-lift reactor with air-water system.
The mixing time, circulation time, gas holdup, and overall mass transfer coefficient were measured according to change of dispersion type, riser-to-downcomer cross sectional area ratios, and air flow rate. Some correlations were obtained to express the effects of variables on gas holdup and mass transfer coefficient. Overall gas holdup and mass transfer coefficient in the type of gas dispersion into annulus were found to be larger than those in case of the type of gas dispersion into draft tube.
