Abstract
혼합강도의 영향을 크게 받는 혼합조-분리조에서 액-액 혼합물의 분리현상을 실험적으로 고찰하였다. 실험계로서는 이성분 물-용매(노르말헥산, 이소옥탄, 에틸아세테이트와 노르말헥산)이다. 회분 실험의 결과로부터 유기물 체류량이 0.30∼0.50인 범위에서 평균액적크기, Weber수와 관련된 다음과 같은 관계식을 얻었다.

또한, 다중입자계의 분리특성을 나타내는 상관식이 연속상에 대한 상대속도를 근거로 다음과 같이 유도되었다.

또한, 다중입자계의 분리특성을 나타내는 상관식이 연속상에 대한 상대속도를 근거로 다음과 같이 유도되었다.

The study on liguid-liguid separation characteristics in a mixer-settler system which is strongly influenced by mixing intensity was conducted experimentally. The experimental systems considered here are binary distilled water-organic solvent (n-heptane, iso-octane, ethyl acetate or n-hexane) systems. By performing batch tests, the relationship between the mean drop size and the Weber number was generated by
