Abstract

황산암모늄을 새로운 황산화제로서의 사용가능성과 alunite로부터 유효성분 Al 및 K분을 효과적으로 추출할 수 있는 새로운 공정개발을 시도하고자 alunite와 황산암모늄의 반응을 조사하였다.
Argon 가스 기류중의 batch system에서 alunite의 황산화에 대한 적정반응조건은 반응온도 375 ℃, alunite에 대한 황산암모늄의 무게비 9.0, 반응시간 2 h, 그리고 시료 alunite의 입도 -200 mesh였으며, 이러한 조건하에서 얻어진 황산화 생성물을 물로 침출한 결과 alunite 중의 Al분은 96.3 %, K분은 95.2 %가 각각 추출되었다.
The sulfating of alunite with ammonium sulfate was investigated in order to find the possibility of ammonium sulfate being an alternative sulfating source and a new process for the extraction of Al and K components from the alunite.
The proper conditions for the sulfating of alunite in the batch system under argon gas atnosphere were that reaction temperature 375 ℃, weight ratio of ammonium sulfate to the alunite 9.0, reaction time 2 h and particle size of alunite -200 mesh.
Under above mentioned conditions, 96.3 % Al and 95.2 % K in the alunite were extracted from the alunite ore by the water leaching, respectively.
