Abstract
국산활성탄을 사용하여 수처리를 중심으로 현장설계에 있어서 기초자료획득을 위한 기초연구의 일환으로, 활성탄에 대한 기초물성 조사를 행함과 아울러 Phenol, ONP, MNP, PNP의 유기화합물을 중심으로 흡착특성에 대한 실험을 행하였다. 본 실험을 통하여 흡착탑 설계에 있어서의 기초 data인 흡착 평형관계는 Freundlich의 흡착등온식에 의해 정리되었으며 이때 n값은 4.0-6.8 범위이였다. 그리고 각 유기물의 입자내 확산계수를 이론적 해석과 실험을 통하여 산출하여 본 결과 유효표면확산계수의 값은 293 K의 경우 0.36-1.2×10-12㎡/s의 범위로 활성화에너지는 7.1-8.3 kcal/mol의 범위임이 밝혀졌다.
To obtain the basic engineering data such as equilibrium relationship and intraparticle diffusion coefficients for the design of activated carbon treatment plant, adsorption test of Korean activated carbon was performed with phenol, ONP, MNP and PNP. Through this experiment adsorption equilibrium relation was correlated by Frundlich equation and its n values were ranged from 4.0 to 6.8. Also the intraparticle diffusion coefficients were determined from adsorption rate measurement in a stirred tank. The effective diffusion coefficients of phenol and three nitrophenol isomer were in the range of 0.36-1.2×10-12㎡/s at 293 K and the activation energy for diffusion was evaluated as 7.1-8.3 kcal/mol.
