Abstract

Arrhenius 형태 속도식의 기본틀에 transfer lag 개념을 도입함으로써 TGA에서의 플라스틱 열분해 결과를 해석하고자 하였다. 외부의 온도변화와 시료의 평균온도변화 사이에 시간상수 τ인 1차계를 가정하고 τ는 시료의 분해정도에 따라 변하는 것으로 보았다. 이같은 모델은 TGA에서 수행한 다양한 가열조건의 열분해결과를 대부분 설명할 수 있었으나 반응의 후반부나 낮은 온도 등 2차반응이 중요할 때의 결과까지를 표현하기에는 미흡하였다.
Concept of the transfer lag was introduced to a basic form of the Arrhenius-type rate equation to interpret the results of plastics pyrolysis in a thermogravimetric analyzer. A first-order system with time constant τwas assumed between ambient temperature and sample average temperature changes and τwas varied with the degradation of the sample. This type of model successfully described most features of plastics pyrolysis with various heating methods of the thermogravimetric analyzer. But the model was still incomplete to express the degradations when the secondary reactions were important, such as those in the latter phase of pyrolysis and those at lower temperatures.
