Abstract
정치비와 에너지 비용의 합이 최소가 되는 최적 열교환망 합성에 대한 연구로 Linnhoff와 Ahmad(1990)가 제안한 장치비와 에너지 비용의 target을 열교환망 합성 전에 구함으로써 최적 ΔTmin을 구하여 합성을 하는 방법을 기본으로 하였다. Capital cost 계산에 Guthrie의 모델을 이용하고, driving force의 조절, 안전 및 layout 등의 문제로 match 제한을 해야 할 경우에 적용할 수 있도록 실제적인 합성 방법을 제시하였고, 이 방법을 이용한 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 프로그램을 주정 생산공정의 증류공정에 적용한 결과 기존의 설계보다 totel an-nual cost가 약 12% 적은 열교환망 구조를 얻었다.
A new methodology for the synthesis of optimum heat exchanger network has been developed. This method is based on the work by Linnhoff and Ahmad which determines the optimum minimum temper-ature difference(△Tmin) based on the energy and capital cost target before the synthesis of the heat exchanger network. The proposed method uses the Guthrie’s model for capital cost calculation, cuts down the capital cost according to control of the driving force between hot and cold streams, and handles the match constraints for the intangibles of design such as safety, layout and etc. The software system developed in this study was applied to the Alko process, which is an alcohol production process, for the synthesis of heat exchanger network. It was possible to save about 12% of the total annual cost.
