Abstract
Tray 형태의 용기에 10g 단위의 PVC 분말시료를 담아 질소분위기에서 HCl휘발과 탄화수소 생성물의 발생을 조사하였다. 적절한 등온조건을 설정함으로써 2차분해의 시작을 유예시킨 채 HCl만을 거의 완전히 휘발시킬 수 있었으나 너무 낮은 온도는 휘발속도가 낮아 불리하였다. HCl을 제거한 나머지 탄화수소부분의 열량은 10,000kcal/kg에 가까웠는데, 이들의 추가분해 결과는 가스생성이 미미할 뿐 아니라 오일의 생성도 작았으며 오일 중에는 중질분이 많았고 유리탄소를 포함한 고정탄소분의 함량도 10%가 넘었다.
Ten grams of PVC powder contained in a tray-type sample holder were pyrolyzed in the nitrogen atmosphere in order to investigate the HCl evolution and the hydrocarbon product generation. Most of HCl could be removed from PVC without starting degradation of hydrocarbon backbone in appropriate isothermal conditions, but at low temperatures HCl evolved to slowly. Removing HCl raised the gross calorific value near 10,000kcal/kg. But further degradation of HCl-removed residue yielded small amount of oil and even smaller amount of hydrocarbon gas. Not only was the hearvy oil fraction high in the recovered oil but the fixed carbon fraction including free carbons exceeded 10%.
