Abstract

전자파 흡수 도료 등으로 사용되고 있는 분체를 이용하여 부유 상태에서 IR 차폐능과 물리적 성질과의 상관관계를 규명하기 위하여 IR spectrometer를 사용하였다. 흑연, 금속분말 등 다양한 분체를 IR spectrometer의 액체 측정용 cell에 부유시킨 후 적외선 투과도를 측정하여 분체의 재질, 형상, 평균입도에 따른 투과도의 변화를 관찰하였다. 분쳉의 평균입도가 작을수록, 순도가 높을수록 그리고 입자의 판상구조가 발달할수록 단위질량당 차폐능이 증가하였다. JG02는 질량소멸계수가 1.41m2/g로 단위 질량당 차폐능이 가장 우수하였으며 BR06은 부피소멸계수가 2.7㎡/㎤로 단위 부피당 차폐능이 가장 우수한 분체였다. 액체 측정용 cell을 이용하여 IR spectrometer로 부유 분체의 적외선 차페능을 측정하는 방법은 기존의 aerosol chamber 를 이용한 실험방법에 비하여 외부 인자에 의한 오차를 제거할 수 있고 부유물의 형상 및 입도분포에 의한 적외선 차폐 효과를 간단하게 측정할 수 있는 방법이다.
To examine the correlationship between IR attenuation and physical properties of suspended particles, IR spectrometer can be used effectively. Several graphite flakes and metallic powders were suspend-ed in a liquid cell and the IR attenuations were measured. The results were analyzed in terms of their physical properties such as shape, purity and more developed flake type showed higher IR attenuation. JG02 and BR06 showed the highest mass and volume extinction coefficient, α=1.14m2/g, β= 2.7m2/cm3, respectively. This technique was considered as more efficient method than the conventional one using aerosol chamber. It could reduce the error caused by external factors and was even more simple to measure the physical effects of various kinds of suspended powders.
