Abstract
시간에 따른 계의 동특성을 파악하고 예측하는 동적모사는 화학공정의 설계, 제어 및 운전을 위해 매우 중요하다. 기존의 동적모사들은 주로 연속변수들에 대해서만 모사가 가능하였으나, 연속변수를 다룰 수 있는 기능만으로 공정을 모사하는 것은 이산사건으로 인한 공정의 변화를 기술하기 어렵기 때문에 불완전하다. 본 논문에서는 공정을 수학적으로 모델링할 때 일관되게 적용할 수 있도록 화학공정에서 발생하는 이산사건을 체계적으로 분류하였으며 각 유형별로 gPROMS (General PROcesses Modeling and Simulation)라는 동적모사기에서 어떻게 구현되는지 예를 들어 보였다. 이를 기반으로 회분반응 공정에서의 응용을 통해 전체 공정의 운전개시와 운전정지, 공정 진행 중의 이산사건 등의 처리예를 고찰하였다.
Dynamic simulation which enables to analyze and predict dynamic behavior of process systems as time varies is very important for the design, control and operation of chemical processes. Current dynamic simulation packages are mainly suitable for handling only continuous variables. However few processes can be fully modeled through existing dynamic simulator mainly due to dis- crete changes that affect most systems to a great extent. In this paper, we developed the classification of discrete events arising in chemical process control system for the consistent mathematical modeling. Dynamic simulation examples including all the types of discrete events were solved using gPROMS(General PROcesses Modeling and Simulation). Based on the discrete event handling technique, start-up and shutdown procedures of a batch rea- ction process also studied.
