Abstract

RuO2-SnO2-IrO2/Ti계 혼합산화물 전극에 여러 가지 희토류원소를 첨가하였을 경우 첨가함에 따라 낮은 산소발생 과전압과 좋은 내구성을 갖게 되었다. 그리고 희토류원소를 첨가하였을 경우 첨가하지 않았을 경우보다 모두 내구성이 향상되었으며, Ho2O3 > Sm2O3 > Er2O3 > Y2O3 > Nd2O3 > La2O3의 순서로 산소발생 과전압이 감소되었다. 또한 가장 낮은 산소발생 과전압을 나타낸 Ho2O3의 첨가량은 1wt%의 경우가 가장 좋았다.
Adding of rare earth elements such as Ho2O3, Sm2O3, Er2O3, Y2O3, Nd2O3, and La2O3, on the RuO2-SnO2-IrO2/Ti mixed oxide electrode enhanced the durability of this mixed oxide electrode, respectively. In every case of the addition of various rare earth element, durability was enhanced and oxygen evolution overvoltage was decreased in order of Ho2O3 > Sm2O3 > Er2O3 > Y2O3 > Nd2O3 > La2O3. When 1wt% of Ho2O3 oxide was doped especially, the oxygen evolution overvoltage of that electrode become lower than that of the mixed oxide electrode itself.
