Abstract

본 연구는 초임계 이산화탄소를 사용한 전해 도금 공정으로 계면활성제에 의해 니켈 도금액과 이산화탄소간에 매크로에멀젼을 형성시키고, 그 용액내에서 구리 위에 니켈을 도금시키는 방법이다. 매크로에멀젼 형성에 있어서 가장 중요한 요소인 계면활성제로 친이산화탄소기와 친수기를 동시에 지닌 fluorocarbon-hydrocarbon계 sodium salt of bis (2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5-octafluoro-1-pentanol) sulfosuccinate (F_AOT)를 합성하였고, 이것의 이산화탄소에 대한 용해도를 측정하였다. 최적의 도금 조건에서 도금액과 이산화탄소의 매크로에멀젼을 형성시켜 도금을 수행하였고 그 결과, 기존의 도금액에 비해 도금액을 1/2가량 절감할 수 있었다. 도금 수행 후, 도금 제품에 대한 품질 평가는 외관, 도금 두께, 도금 균일성 등을 통해 이루어졌으며, 상압에서 실시된 기존의 방법을 통해 얻어진 결과와 비교하였다.
This is the method that Ni+2 in macroemulsion have deposit in Cu substrate after Ni-plating solution/scCO2 emulsion using the surfactant was formed. For the formation of emulsion, we synthesized fluorocarbon-hydrocarbon hybrid surfactants, in that, sodium salt of bis (2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5-octafluoro-1-pentanol) sulfosuccinate which has both ‘CO2 philic’ chains and ‘hydrophilic’ head group. The plating solution could be reduced to 1/2 times by this new electroplating method. Quality of plated ware was evaluated by using the brilliance, the uniformity on surface of plated ware, and the plating thickness. Plated wares were compared between the results in supercritical condition and that in atmospheric condition.
