The Heat Transfer Coefficient in a Gas-Liquid-Solid Fluidized Bed
HWAHAK KONGHAK, March 1969, 7(1), 33-37(5), NONE
Abstract
The heat transfer coefficient in a gas-liquid-solid fluidized bed which consists with four constituents; solid packings, fluidized solid particles, liquid media and blowing gas were measured and the general empirical formulas were determined.
A systematic experiment was carried out varying the dimension and shape of solid packings.
Sands, Neobead and Raschig ring were used as solid packings.
Modified Reynolds number based on the particle diameter and gas superficial velocity ranged between 0.2 and 1,000.
The empirical correlation are as follows;
Nu,g=1.2×10-1 Re1.84 Pr0.69(DP/DT)0.85 Nu,1=2.9 Re1.07 Pγ-1.2(DP/DT)0.92
