Abstract

제 1보의 평판집열기와 태양열온수기에 이어 이번 제 2보에서는 태양에너지의 제온활용으로서 가장 각광을 받고 있는 태양열에 의한 주거난방 및 냉방, 담수생산을 목적으로 한 태양증발기, 농산업에의 응용인 오닐 및 태양열견조에 대하여 연구개발의 측면에서 현황을 소개한다. 이들 분야에 대한 활발한 연구결과로 태양열난방과 태양열증발기는 그 경제성이 입증된 지역이 많다. 온실은 열손실을 줄이기 위한 효과적 열관리에, 태양열건조에 있어서는 경제적 시스템개발에 연구가 집중되고 있다. 우리나라에서도 실용성이 큰 위와 같은 분야의 연구가 선행되어야 한다. 태양열난방은 아직 기술적인 가능성을 시험하는 단계에 있다.
Solar residential heating and cooling, solar stills producing potable water, greenhouse and solar dehydration as agricultural applications are reviewed with an emphasis on similar R & D activities in Korea. These phases of solar energy utilization at low temperature are considered the most attractive as practical means. Solar space heating and solar stills are already in operation in many localities competing with conventional methods. As for greenhouse and solar dehytdration research efforts are concentrated on effective energy management by reducing heat loss and cost-effective system development, respectively. Technical details of solar space cooling are still under tests. Solar energy utilization at high temperature will be reviewed in part III of this series.
