Abstract

Shrinking core model에 의하여 반응하는 평면형 석탄의 연소에 있어서 표면반응(C+1/2O2→CO)에 이어 기상에서 진행되는 재연소반응 (CO+1/2O2→CO2)의 의미와 그 효과를 수치해근에 의하여 분석 검토하였다.
재연소반응이 표면반응에 미치는 영향은 표면반응속도와 회분층을 통한 산소의 확산속도의 비로서 표시된 Damköhler number 그리고 재연소반응속도와 표면반응속도의 비로서 표시된 또 하나의 무차원변수에 의하여 지배된다. 또한 재연소반응이 기타의 여러 연소조건에 미치는 영향을 위에 언급한 무차원변수를 통하여 검토하였다.
The isothermal burning of coal is analysed through a mathematical model which includes the surface reaction between carbon and oxygen (C+1/2O2→CO) on the core surface as well as the secondary homogeneous reaction between carbon monoxide and oxygen (CO+1/2O2→CO2) in diffusing layer.
The effects of the secondary homogeneous reaction on coal combustion processes are discussed from various points of view.
