황산암모늄에 의한 α-Al2O3의 황산화반응(II)

Abstract

황산암모늄을 황산화제로 한 α-Al2O3의 황산화반응에 대하여 연구하였다. 본 실험에서 이들 반응은 boat-batch system에서 수행되었으며 반응변수로서 반응온도, 황산암모늄의 양, 반응시간, α-Al2O3의 입도 및 air의 유량 등을 선정하여 이들이 α-Al2O3의 황산화반응에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 실험결과 본 황산화반응의 적당한 반응조건은 반응온도 350 ℃, α-Al2O3에 대한 황산암모늄의 mole비 10.0, 반응시간 2 h, α-Al2O3의 입도 -200 mesh였으며 이 조건하에서 α-Al2O3의 98.92 %가 Ammonium Aluminum Sulfate로 전화되었다.
The reaction of α-Al2O3 with (NH42SO4 wao studied. These reactions were carried out in the boat-batch system under air atmosphere with such variables, reaction temperature, mole ratio of (NH4)2SO4 to α-Al2O3, reaction time, particle size of α-Al2O3 and air flow rate.
The proper conditions for the reaction were that reaction temperature 350 ℃, mole ratio of (NH42SO4 to α-Al2O3 10.0, reaction time 2 h, and particle size of α-Al2O3 -200 mesh. Under those conditions, conversion of α-Al2O3 to Ammonium Aluminum Sulfate was 98.92 %.
