Abstract

압출기의 온도분포는 생산된 고분자 제품의 질에 많은 영향을 미치므로 압출기의 운전시 압출기 각 지점별로 원하는 온도를 유지시키는 일이 매우 중요하다. 그러나 압출기 내의 고분자가 이동하며 생기는 마찰열과 고분자의 이동방향으로 나타나는 심한 온도 간섭현상으로 인하여, 기존의 비집중화 SISO PID는 제한된 온도제어성능을 나타낼 수밖에 없다. 본 연구에서는 좀 더 정밀한 압출기 온도제어를 실현하기 위하여, 간섭현상이 고려된 모델에 근거하여 앞먹임(feedforward)제어를 고려한 비집중화 SISO 모델예측제어 알고리즘을 제시하고, 수치모사를 통하여 그 성능을 확인하였다.
Control of the temperature distribution in an extruder is important in maintaining consistent quality of an extruded polymer product. Due to nonlinear viscous heat effects and strong interaction along the direction of polymer flow, however, commercially employed decentralized SISO PID control often shows limited performance. As a way to realize more accurate extruder temperature control, in this paper, we present a simplified linear model for the extruder which takes the interaction effects into account, and a decentralized SISO MPC algorithm with feedforward compensation of the interaction effects. Performance of the proposed technique has been illustrated through numerical simulations.
